SPMU Lip Blush Course

Lip blush is the uk’s fastest growing spmu treatment and is set to become an essential treatment for every client. Lip blush is different to outdated lip liner and lip tattooing techniques. Carried out correctly, lip blush enhances the natural lip colour in an undetectable way. Our goal is not to create a lip stick effect, but to correct undertones and enhance the lip shape to create a more flattering aesthetic, even when the client isn’t wearing any make up.

One of the reasons lip blush is becoming more in demand is due to the popularity of lip fillers. As the lip is filled with product it can start to loose some of its warm colouring. With lip blush we can redefine the vermillion border and correct any cool undertones. Alternatively, there may be clients who do not wish to have fillers but would still like a treatment that can improve the look of their lips.

This course is suitable for complete beginners and learners from completely different industries. We’ll take you through everything you need to know to start your business, but our aim is to support you in becoming outstanding and exceptionally skilled spmu artists. Therefore, the skills you will be shown are at a much higher level than other standard spmu courses. We expect our learners to be self-motivated, determined, ambitious and prepared for intensive but fun learning.

What does the course cover?

Our SPMU Lip Blush course is made up of 2 separate SPMU days; Advanced Theory (1 day), and Lip Blush (1 Day). All courses are completed across 4 consecutive days.

Following your classroom lessons you will have up to six months to complete your case studies with our support.

Course structure:

Bother training days will run from 10am-4pm.

Are there any entry requirements?

Absolutely not! All of our courses are fully accredited, licensed, and insured, allowing us to teach beginners with no prior beauty experience. Many of our past students have come from diverse industries and backgrounds, seeking a new challenge or looking for a way to earn extra income alongside their existing careers.

What qualification will I receive?

Upon completion of the course, you will be a fully qualified SPMU Technician with a qualification: Lip blush. You’ll receive a Libbie Mai Studios Diploma for each technique, accredited by CPD. With this, you can take out insurance, apply for a licence and begin your career as a LMS affiliated SPMU Tech in either an employed or self employed role. ***Certificate will be sent via email***

Do I need to complete case studies?

SPMU is a highly skilled profession that requires time, patience, and dedication to master. Throughout your training with us, you’ll gain the knowledge, experience, and confidence needed to succeed. However, our SPMU courses are held to the highest standards— we're not just another beauty academy, we're SPMU experts, and we want you to be one too. We make sure every learner understands that the journey will require hard work, which is why we provide ongoing support every step of the way. You will begin practicing on case study clients when leaving the training after your training day. We ask for around five case studies to help us assess your strengths and identify areas for improvement. This also gives you the opportunity to seek advice on any challenges you encounter. This additional support is included in your package, and many of our learners continue to stay in touch even after completing the course.
